Constance Chabrières, born in 1968, is a French sculptor, who opened her art studio Atelier Constance Chabrières, in 2004, in Paris, France. It was a leap of faith. She creates mobile and stabile artworks and sculpts the living. She is focused on emotions traveling through the movement, on how emotions connect us to the world.

Scavenging, searching for natural material in the forest, on the beach, assembling it with discarded elements she finds in the streets, stimulate her imagination. Paper is her favorite material. Dry, wet, crumpled, thin or thick, she plays with paper. Often, she collaborates with artisans and artists on site specific projects.

Constance Chabrières makes bronze sculptures upon request. She does commissioned installations for public institutions, runs workshops with elementary schools, develops projects with non-profits.
